The Pacific Bakery Difference

At Pacific Bakery we use many organically grown whole grains which we slowly grind on natural (not synthetic) stone mills. We make bread the way it was meant to be, using no yeast, no “secret” sourdough starter, and no shortcuts. Every loaf is kneaded and formed by hand and allowed to rise. After fire-baking, we package and ship our breads and bagels throughout the United States.

Our Yeast-Free Guarantee tm

At Pacific Bakery, we’ve never used yeast and never will, which enables us to guarantee the purity of our products. Beware of other breads labeled “yeast-free.” If a bakery uses yeast in any of their products, there is yeast in all of them. Yeast is an airborne mold and goes everywhere in the building.

Certified organic whole grains

The grains we use are organically grown in ‘earth friendly’ fields which use NO chemicals, NO herbicides, NO pesticides, and NO synthetic fertilizers. Organic farming techniques provide a safer, more sustainable environment for everyone and every living thing.

Stoneground fresh daily

Whole grain flour spoils quickly, so we make ours fresh every day.

Fat-Free.

Many of our breads are Fat-free according to FDA standards, except the almond-raisin, sourdough and multi-grain breads, and our bagels, which are low-fat.

Ancient Wheat Products

These are ancient varieties of wheat, still in the same form they were thousands of years ago. These ancient grains have not been hybridized like today’s wheat has. Modern wheat has been changed to suit the needs of progress, to increase crop yield, and to resist pests and disease. Please consult your health care practitioner regarding your own dietary needs.
